P & C Association

P & C Association

The functions of a P&C Association are to:

  • develop parent participation and involvement in the school;
  • encourage parents to discuss issues pertaining to the school and its community and for gathering opinions;
  • promote and support communication and cooperation within the school community and to bring educational matters to the attention of the wider community; and
  • provide extra resources for the benefit of government school students.

The P&C is a great way to connect with the school and your child’s education, and we welcome new members throughout the year.  You can choose to just come along to meetings to keep up-to-date, or volunteer your time at events.

The Central Midlands P&C operates the school canteen on a volunteer basis, providing great food for hungry teenagers. The canteen currently runs just one day a week, however, with more volunteers we can open more often, so please contact the P&C President, Tracey Errington at cmshspandc@gmail.com if you are interested in becoming a volunteer.

The P&C also fundraise for various school events like the School Ball and Country Week. They also organise and host the School Ball for the graduating Year 12s.

All parents are welcome to attend the P&C meetings to see how you can contribute – ‘Many hands make light work’, as they say.
