Senior VET Courses
At Central Midlands SHS we partner with several VET providers to provide a variety of VET Certificates to prepare our students for the workplace once they leave high school. This is available to Year 11 and 12 students.
Students can complete Certificates in the following courses:
Certificate II in Construction (Pathway- Trades)

Certificate II in Community Services
Open the door to a career in caring for others.
A career in community services is exceptionally rewarding. The Certificate II in Community Services provides an introduction to the general field of community services.
Certificate IV in Preparation for Health and Nursing Studies
Your career in health starts here.
This course will give you sound knowledge about the human body, health, math and chemistry as well as study skills to support further learning. (This is a completely Online Course)
Certificate II in Workplace Skills
An interest in entry-level business related skills and knowledge.
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who have not yet entered the workforce, and are developing the necessary skills in preparation for work. (This is a completely Online Course)
Certificate II in Information, Digital Media and Technology
The nationally recognised Certificate II in Information, Digital Media and Technology prepares you for entry level roles in information technology across a range of industries. Learn about computer operating systems, digital media and social media and upgrade your IT career. (This is a completely Online Course)
