Central Midlands Senior High School Student Council

The School Head Students are the student leaders who represent the school at formal functions including Anzac Day Services and assemblies.

Student Council
The Student Council is elected by their peer group and staff. The students on the Council are responsible for representing the general student population of the school. They play a key role in assemblies, organise events and participate in community forums, in addition to having input into various activities run by the school. The Councillors have a close working relationship with the Student Council coordinator who they meet with each day in Home Room.

Head Students
The School Head Students are the student leaders who represent the school at formal functions including Anzac Day Services and assemblies.
These leaders are elected from the Year 12 cohort. Students can nominate themselves and nominees are given a clear explanation of the role on acceptance of their nomination. The student then goes on to the next stage where they are short-listed and formally interviewed by the Principal. The elected school student leaders are involved in activities during and after school hours.
